Tachichi – Gremmy Sip



Veteran Dartmouth, Nova Scotia-based Black Buffalo Records recording artist Tachichi drops his latest project, Gremmy Sip, on tangerine marble. The album is dedicated to the fight for social justice and the perseverance of the BIPOC and LGBTQ communities.

Gremmy Sip features production from long-time collaborator DJ Moves, as well as DK, Ambition, SeanOne, ChanHays, and Uncle Fester. Tachichi recruits labelmates Lxvndr, Ghettosocks, Aquakultre, and Jah’Mila for the project along with Junk, B-NoQ, CEE!!!!!!!!, Kung219.

Halifax’s own DJ Skratch Bastid cuts up album single, Hashtag BLM, a socially conscious track released in response to the murder of George Floyd.

The LP release is accompanied by a video for Gremmy Sip’s third single, Tubesocks featuring Shanii22 and Baltimore emcee King Los. It follows the Dead Fresh video released in 2020.
