Snips – Don’t Stop The Rock / Hard to Be Human

Black Buffalo Records presents a 7″ release produced by Snips from Brooklyn, flipping two iconic Michael Jackson classics into Golden Era hip-hop instrumentals. Side A, “Don’t Stop The Rock,” is a high-energy, soul-infused track driven by head-nodding boom-bap drums, a deep bassline, and chopped vocal hooks from “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)”. On the flip, Side B’s “Hard To Be Human” delivers a lush, late-night groove built around a warm electric guitar loop, subtle organ chords, and soulful vocal flips from “Human Nature”. Pressed on 7″ vinyl, this release balances crisp boom-bap production with nostalgic sampling, making it an essential spin for beat heads, DJs, and lyricists alike.
